New Leaders Council

Blog

You Are Not Alone, the first article in a series on the RAISE family caregivers act, was recently published in The New Leader. The series, authored by New Leaders Council - Orlando Co. Director Usha Tewari (pictured left), provides a unique perspective on Alzheimer’s disease and its potent implications on our fragile health care system.

Calling upon her own personal experiences as a caregiver and sharing her passion for the cause, Tewari describes the nature of life as a caregiver, the fundamentals of a successful bi-partisan effort passed earlier this year and signed into law, the RAISE family caregivers act, and outlines what you should be looking out for in the future.

Check out Usha Tewari’s recent article today!
